Why I Write

Sometimes, when it seems as if nothing is working right, the story is going nowhere, the characters seem flat and boring, a tiny little comment comes along and makes me realize why I write:

Stefan, Little Sarah (age 10) reports that The Three Feathers is her favorite book ever, ever, and she’s already read it twice. Jennifer (age 16) reports that she really liked it. Sarah really wanted to write a review on Amazon, but I told her she didn’t have an account, but she wanted you to know she gives it all FIVE STARS! [Michael Bunker, author of WICK]
